From the get-go Dan was more responsive than other contractors in taking a look at my project and getting a bid to me. The bid was lower than others’ bids, and he was honest about the things that would add cost (and time) to the project as we went along. He had a ton of patience with the Minneapolis permit and inspections process (which is laborious, at best). Most importantly, his work is outstanding with much attention to detail. He also asked about my preferences throughout the process, shifting and changing the plan as he went along. It was a full basement bathroom buildout plus laundry room with adjustments to the stairway and floor installation, which included leveling, in a 1919 home. I couldn’t be happier with the results and hope to work with Vertex again in the future.

Dan completed a bathroom and kitchen remodel for me and it was a great experience! He was knowledgeable and willing to make adjustments to get the floors and paint colors just right. You can expect a reliable estimate and timely completion of the construction. I have a small exterior concrete project coming up and I plan to call Dan!

Dan built a beautiful porch on the front of our house. With that, he installed a new front door, changed out a window, hung a new light fixture. It was so fun to see the design come to life. Dan's knowledge and skills are awesome!
